NOT EVERY FAMILIES OR INDIVIDUALS NEEDS ARE THE SAME!
The percentage of the donation you allocate 50 Plus Centre, which will go to a destitute family is 100%.
We have a lot of families who may need less or extra assistance from us.
Example:
~ Where one family or elderly may need beds, other families only need bedding etc.
~ One family may have someone in the household that works, another family my consist of a single mother/father with no
way of income.
~ One family may have a child old enough to work and assist the family with their financials or the lack thereof, where
another family have a child with a
terrible illness or may be physically or mentally disabled, which means the family has more financial problems than other
families.
This is exactly the situation with our elderly, centres and Aids individuals
Example:
~ Some elderly are left to look after their grand children after they have been abandon by their parents or the parent may
be dead.
~ Some might be sick and some might be disabled
~ Some of the centres has more children, elderly or physically and mentally disabled individuals that they need to take care
of, thus while one centre for instance will receive 10kg of rice/mielie meel etc another centre will receive 50 kg
We know each and every family, child, elderly, aids individual and centre that we assist as we do an in-depth screening/profile on each and every one so we know exactly what they need and how Fifty Plus Centre can give them the best assistance possible, for instance a family with at least one parent working will receive less than, what a family with a lower income or no income at all will receive, the same goes for the total of family members and children in one house hold.
We are in hope this gives you a better idea of how we get involved with each family accordingly. We have over 200 families on the list for aid at the moment, and there are still more to come once we've assisted some of the first on our lists.
